Mr Andrews, who has held the role as the venue's manager since 2016, regarded his booked performers' refusal to provide both Police and WWC (working with children) checks as odd behaviour.
"The planned Katy Perry and Taylor Swift Tribute show on October 10 has been cancelled," he declared.
"Band members refused to undergo police checks prior to the concert and the PCYC will never ever compromise on the safety of the young people in our club because the risk is just too high."
The tribute show was held at the Doyalson Wyee RSL Club on the Central Coast this afternoon while last week they performed at the Shoal Bay Country Club.
The iconic Singleton venue was expecting a crowd nearing the 200 mark tomorrow afternoon.
"We pass on our apologies for any inconvenience but, in the end, the decision was a simple one," he added.
