Reigning SDCA (Singleton District Cricket Association) first grade premiership captain Jackson Cox believes it will take at least a month before we can declare a favourite for the 2019/20 title.

Last year his PCH line-up pulled off the ultimate fairy-tale finals run after before chasing down a target of 40 runs in the final four overs of the season decider.
They would then celebrate their first premiership since 2002 as a result.
"I think it's hard to say who's favourite this early in the season," Cox admitted.
"Around Christmas time is when we will all know who's going to be the team to beat.
"As for the premiership, it took a while to sink in and was a great feeling to finally win the comp.
"It's been so long between drinks for the club."
If the weather permits, PCH will take on Valley in a mouth-watering grand final rematch this Saturday at Howe Park.
However they will be without Bradley Cox and Pat Denniss (work) with the spotlight cast on the skipper to rejuvenate the batting order.
"Personally I'd like to score some runs early in the year and, as a team, hopefully string a few wins together early on," he concluded.
JPC and Glendon are scheduled to meet in the remaining first grade fixture at Cook Park 3 while powerhouse Creeks open their account the following weekend against Glendon.
