Feeling nostalgic for the fabulous 1960s then the upcoming production by St Catherine's Catholic College, 'Ultimate Decisions' will provide the ideal antidote.

To be performed by the high school drama students with music by the school's rock and stage bands the production will be staged on two nights from 7:00pm on Wednesday, November 27 and Thursday, November 28 in the school hall.

St Catherine's drama teacher Lisa Hall said the production would capture the essence of the 1960s. "We will be talking about the Vietnam War and there will be plenty of music from that era," she said.

The production is set around the Maplestones family who are all back in town to celebrate their Gran's 100th birthday.

"This birthday party is the biggest event to have happened in their lives, even the mayor is coming to the event," she said. Throwing a bit of a spanner into the party planning is the arrival of The Beatles who look likely to upstage Gran.
