The reigning premiers managed to chase down JPC's target of 165 thanks to the experienced batting of former NSW Country batsman David Marshall on club debut.
He would finish with 24 runs.
"It was good, we were going pretty easy getting them out for 165 and we were then 0/92," Marshall told the Singleton Argus.
"Then all of the sudden we were about 3/100 so we had to dig deep but a few of the boys towards the bottom (order) put their hands up and got the runs which was good."
Marshall made a total of 15 appearances for NSW Country side including the 1996 Boxing Day test against Zimbabwe held in Dubbo.
Though he would also play three games for Glendon in 2004 the now 49-year-old admits he's excited to continue his long awaited return to the game.
"I've made a return to over 50s in Tamworth this year because I qualify for that but I haven't really played properly in about 18 years," he added.
"But some blokes at work convinced me to make a comeback which led to the return."
When asked whether he would return for PCH next week?
"I'll be back but probably in second grade though."
MEANWHILE Valley has claimed back to back victories thanks to a strong start by opener Tully Winsor (77 runs) and Troy Barnett (71) in the opening innings.
Tristan Muir also served the line-up with grace in the second innings thanks to his four wicket haul.
