Club president Darren Tracey has paid tribute to the visiting Singleton RSL, Abermain and Scone outfits for the club's inaugural mixed club social night.

"We wanted to use a night such as this to promote our club, strengthen our relationships with our neighbouring teams and, most of all, enjoy a night of bowls," Tracey told the Singleton Argus.

"Tonight's winner will then host next year's tournament so there will be plenty of competition on the green.

"We're also proud to announce that we have been able to welcome seven new sponsors since we were last published in the Argus in September so we'd like to pay tribute for all the promotion."
