HUNTER Valley Police District has launched an investigation after two firearms and rounds of ammunition were stolen from a storage facility at Singleton.

On Tuesday, January 21, a 32-year-old man has taken a firearm safe, firearms and ammunition to a storage facility in McDougalls Hill.
The storage shed was secured before the male left the facility.
Then about 9am on Thursday, January 23, officers were called to the facility following reports two firearms and ammunition had been stolen from a storage unit.
A crime scene was established and investigations are continuing.
Police are urging anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam from the area nearby between Tuesday, January 21, and Thursday, January 23, to contact Singleton Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
