Creeks will return from the bye to face off against JPC in the remaining fixture.
Valley avenged its shock defeat to Glendon at Cook Park 1 on Saturday thanks to a four wicket haul courtesy of Daniel Hayes.
Teammate Tristan Muir also added to his most improved first grade player campaign when he dismissed Glendon trio Max Willis, Scott Daniel and Spencer Brien earlier in the piece.
Simon White then recorded nine boundaries and a six in the following over to lead the successful chase with 52 runs.
The two clubs made history when playing off for the Black Dog Institute (see story).
Meanwhile the Cox brothers guided premiership favourite PCH to victory over JPC under the Duckworth Lewis system.
The Newcastle based Bradley registered 28 before his skipper Jackson managed 38 in the shortened innings.

Devastation echoed across the Creeks huddle at 4pm on Saturday as players were forced to call the match a washout.
Creeks posted an opening innings of 219 thanks to an impressive 59 runs from Dan Tracey while Fraser Wilson gained an additional 39 (as well as a black eye) when batting at nine.
Fourth placed Denman presented its case for this year's second grade finals series with a dominant victory over Valley.
Skipper Karl Bowd, who missed the opening month of the season due to injury, returned to his best with 122 runs while Dan Wojcikewycz proved best with the ball (5/18).

Ladder leader JPC prevailed over Valley via the Duckworth Lewis system in the third grade competition while the John-Hipwell-inspired-Creeks strengthened its position in the finals race with a triumph at Denman.
