The local brigade was called out to a business on John Street at 10:20am after reports of a small kitchen fire.
Moments after crews had completed their assessment they were then called to an oil spill on the corner of William and Bathurst Street.

"A local resident had a spill which went up William Street so that was nothing more than a quick clean up."
