Most sports in Singleton have been cancelled however there is one still available.
The Singleton Golf Club continues to be able to offer golf albeit under changed rules.
Because golf is played essentially on an open park, we are still allowed to play and obey all the social distancing regulations.
New golf rules mean that players do not have to touch the flag poles or bunker rakes during play.
The aged ritual of shaking your opponents hand at the end of the round has been changed to a doff of the cap.
Players must also mark their own cards.
The course is still in outstanding condition and players are really appreciating the quality of the course.
Club Pro Les Bennett commented that even though the club house has closed; the course is getting plenty of use.
Anyone wishing to play must call the Pro Shop on 65724875.
All rounds must be booked to be played at a certain time so we can ensure that players are not gathering in groups.
To stop the spread of the virus all players must treat social distancing seriously.
