As we embark on the weekend we have joined forces with many local personalities to promote one simple message.
Stay at home.
Global coronavirus cases have sky rocketed from 275,550 to 531,865 in the space of seven days while the death toll has also doubled (from 11,386 to 24,073).
In that same timeframe, cases in the Hunter New England Heath district have risen from 18 to 142 while the first (and only to date) confirmed case in Singleton was reported on Thursday.
A special thanks to our local leaders and identities for uniting under our banner this week.
We now welcome all of our readers to send a picture with a 'Stay At Home' sign to help spread our message.
