The top seller Knowla Packer P130 is in the top 20% for all the Angus breeding indexes and was selected by the Cameron family from "Glenora", Walcha.
The second top priced bull at $27,000 sold to another Walcha commercial operation of Branga Plains Pastoral Co for Knowla Quantum Q27.
Cassilis based commercial operation, Betrola Investments secured Knowla Packer P147 for $20,000.
Stud breeders were also active with Urban Angus paying $20,000 for the 16-month-old Knowla Quincy Q75 and Holbrook based Dunoon Angus paying $22,000 for Knowla Pepper P91. Seaham based stud Boambee Angus paid $18,000 for Knowla Packer P141.
Local commercial breeders were also prominent in the higher prices with Mackas Pastoral and Trevor Murray paying $18,000 for their selections.
Volume purchaser was Ellerston Station of Scone who purchased 8 bulls to a top of $20,000 to average $16,250.
Long term clients, the Evans family from Vacy and the Johnston family of Gloucester River both secured three bulls.
In the female section of the catalogue six PTIC yearling stud heifers sold to $5,000 to Linvale Angus from Linthorpe Queensland and averaged $4,375.
One hundred unjoined yearling commercial heifers sold to $3,000 to Tomkat Pastoral, Bunyah and averaged $2,098.
The sale was conducted by Elders with Paul Dooley as auctioneer.
