"I'm delighted to announce that the Morrison Government will provide the money through the capital works program for the new primary school building - which will include multiple breakout and learning areas, a staffroom, student amentities and a lift," said Senator Hughes.
"It's terrific to announce this grant which will benefit such a wonderful school community by improving the important primary school facilities for students, teachers and the entire community," said Senator Hughes.
"Students and teachers thrive when their schools have modern and up-to-date facilities - that's why the Morrison Government is proud of the Capital Grants Program, which is benefiting thousands of schools across the nation," she said.
Senator Hughes said that the Coalition is ensuring that every child gets a quality education no matter where they go to school.
"We are providing a record $314.7 billion for all Australian Schools from 2018 to 2029," said Senator Hughes.
"We are delivering real, needs-based funding that is matched by national reforms that will drive better results and outcomes, as recommended by David Gonski in his Review to Achieve Educational Excellence in Australian Schools.
"I congratulate Australian Christian College - Singleton and I can't wait to come back and see the kids and celebrate your new building works as soon as they are completed," she said.
Senator Hughes said the funding announcement was one of six local Capital Grants projects approved for funding with construction to commence in 2021.
