Playing for the North Sydney Rebels, Colts, Flockhart, is expected to accept an offer to play for the Division 1 NAIA team in Missouri Valley College team the Vikings.

If he does the 18-year-old will be heading to Missouri in August.
Just like many of the Colts players in the league, this has been Bowen's dream and goal since his first snap in purple so the Club and his family are proud of him for accomplishing that.
His father Peter played gridiron and even during his time at the Roosters he was keen on giving gridiron a trial but the logistics of making it to training meant he delayed the move until he held a drivers licence.
Bowen's advice to anyone who wishes to be signed like he was? "Don't wait for the opportunity, go out and create the opportunity because if you wait it might never come".
Bowen's Head Coach, Adam Blue, is quoted on the Rebels page saying "After an impressive rookie season with the Rebels Colts, we are excited to watch Bowen's football journey continue at Missouri Valley.
He worked very hard to get this opportunity and we know he is going to give it his all, making his Rebels teammates proud when he steps onto the gridiron as a Viking."
Now if you want to see Bowen tear it up on the gridiron before he heads to the States, he has just been picked up by theLake Macquarie Marauders Gridiron in the Hunter Gridiron League.
