Mr Drayton highlighted his previous discussions with Singleton Fire & Rescue members the need for upgrades to the building that has been untouched for over a century.
"The Singleton Fire & Rescue building and facilities are over 100 years old and have not been touched in that time period," said Mr Drayton.
"It lacks amenities and change rooms and as a result, female fire fighters have to get changed towards the front of the station within view of the public when called out to jobs."
"If you want to see a case of neglect it is this station."
Mr Drayton claimed that the Singleton Fire & Rescue Station attend roughly 150 jobs more than Muswellbrook Fire Brigade, which is the second largest Fire Brigade in this electorate.
"The Fire & Rescue service is a very important service to the Singleton community and it's appalling that they have to work out of these facilities."
Mr Drayton was joined by Shadow Minister for Natural Resources Mr Paul Scully to call out the National Party and Deputy Premier John Barilaro for neglecting mining communities.
"Today we have seen the Naitonals continue their approach to rely on privatisations, asset sales and to rely on selling off TAFES, hospitals and schools to fund the amount that they are delivering back to regional communities," said Mr Scully.
"People have a choice on Saturday, if they want to see privatisations continue vote National."
"If you want a fair share delivered to regional communities and if you want a connection between the amount of revenue that communities like the Upper Hunter generate each years and what is going to be spent in these communities the only choice is to vote Labor."
Pre-polling is now open and NSW Electoral Commission have four pre-poll centres operating at Singleton, Muswellbrook, Scone and Gloucester as well as their head office in Sydney.
