Despite the overcast conditions veterans, their families and community members gathered in Burdekin Park for the Remembrance Day service.
With the All Saints Anglican Church bells tolling in the background to start the minutes silence at 11:00am on November 11 participants stood with their heads bowed to remember the fall across all conflicts but particularly the end to hostilities in World War 1.
