In a statement released on Thursday morning, Mr Joyce confirmed he had tested positive while on a trip to Washington, DC.

The Nationals leader will remain in isolation until further advice.
Mr Joyce met with British ministers including British Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab, national security adviser Stephen Lovegrove, Grant Shapps, and George Brandis while in London earlier this week.
He had travelled to London and Washington to discuss reform of social media companies, as well as infrastructure and aviation, with foreign counterparts.
