Paddy Dillon, Dillon and Sons Real Estate and Livestock, said the positive market trend was being driven by strong restocker demand.
"It's the dearest market I have ever seen," Mr Dillon said.
"The season dictates the market, so it is all looking very good at the moment."
The top-selling steer pen averaged 215kg and returned $1807/head.
In total, combined agents yarded 463 head of cattle, which were drawn from across the local area.
The bidding gallery had the regular run of buyers, including restockers from the Upper and Lower Hunter, as well as local butcher shops, feedlots, and processors.
Heifers topped at 794c/kg for a three-head Angus pen, and in total, averaged 629c/kg.
A line of Hereford cross heifers met strong demand and made a return of $1823/head, when being sold for 554c/kg and averaging 329kg.
Cows averaged 351c/kg across the board, and peaked at 380c/kg for an Angus offering, which represents a 10c/kg lift on last week's results.
A highlight in the steer run included an Angus cross yearling line, which made 536c/kg and weighed 318kg to return $1706/head.
The bull price was firm on the previous week, averaging 355c/kg and hitting 408c/kg for a Charolais offering.
Looking ahead, Mr Dillon was confident the strong market conditions would continue at the upcoming Prime Sale, set to be held on 15 December, which is the last auction for 2021 at HRLX.
"I believe the prices will hold firm, right up until Christmas and well into the New Year," he said.
The first sale for the 2022 selling season will be held on Wednesday, 12 January.
