This year’s championships were held at Homebush in Sydney and attracted teams from throughout Australia.
The girls Abbie Darr, Kasey McCarthy, Charlotte Daniel, Lexie Wholert and Jemmason Renfrew were members of the Oxygen Nitros team and won the level two junior section for teams aged under 14 years.
Their win meant the five girls were the recipients of special national championships jackets which they are pictured wearing with pride in the above photograph.
Only national winners receive and can wear the jackets. Other Singleton competitors returned home with second and third placings, with the mini squad of younger girls coming second at the nationals.
