A new sponsorship deal will allow the Branxton Greta Business Chamber to offer free entry to everyone.
Thanks to the generosity of Belford Land Corporation, organisers have waived the original ticket prices ($20 per family or $5 individually).
Anthony Medich, joint managing director of Belford Land Corporation who is developing Radford Park at Branxton, said the company’s kindness was a small contribution to the local community.
“When we saw the Branxton Greta Business Chamber putting in so much work to make the evening a success we decided to lend a hand,” he said.
The major sponsorship by Belford Land Corporation of $2500, as well as $1050 from other businesses, will cover almost all costs for the evening including all necessary insurances.
Branxton Greta Business Chamber president Mike Starkey said the financial support was heartening – and a huge entertainment bonus for the local community.
“Belford Land Corporations’ sponsorship of $2500 came out of the blue and the chamber members are delighted at their generosity,” he said.
The event, featuring Disney’s animated hit Frozen, will be staged at Branxton Oval, John Rose Avenue.
“Branxton Oval has been the site of many community functions and sporting events over the years,” Mr Starkey said.
“It seems only fitting that this community event be held where so many people from our community have gathered in the past.
“These events will also provide an opportunity for residents to gather and appreciate what the Branxton Greta townships have to offer.”
It all kicks off from 5.30pm on Saturday, with the movie starting between 7pm and 7.30pm.
Food is available on the night, along with a barbecue, the amazing Air Stream Events Van, soft drinks, coffee and hot chocolate.
Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy a great family movie with the fantastic community of the Branxton Greta area and surrounds.
