Players will wear black armbands and observe a minutes silence before every game this weekend.
"It's an absolute tragedy and it's good to see this tribute is a statewide initiative," Singleton District Senior Cricket Association president Daniel Storey said.
Singleton Junior Cricket's Marie Knight said it was a sad time and that junior club also shared their thoughts with the bowler of the delivery that struck Hughes, Sean Abbott.
"It's not too long ago that Sean took time out to help the juniors out here in Singleton so we hope he knows it's not his fault," Mrs Knight said.
