The dance school’s Pink Cubs grabbed a number of titles including the Level 1 Triple Crown at the Australian All Star Cheerleading Federation (AASCF).
They were the grand champions, taking home the huge trophy and banner after defeating 30 other teams.
They won a free bid to the AASCF Australasian Pinnacle in November at the Melbourne Convention Centre and a bid for the Duel in the Desert in Palm Springs, California, USA.
EOD Pink Cubs consist of 21 young local girls under-14, some new to cheerleading and some who have never competed before.
Head coach Darcie Winkler said she was still pinching herself and was overwhelmed at the result.
“I’m very proud of the team, but never doubted this amazing group of young girls had the capacity to excel,” she said.
Winkler and coach Michelle Ehrich said the team had worked hard to develop and achieve skills.
“They’ve put in 110 per cent effort in all they have done in the preparation leading up to the competition,” Winkler said.
“They are back working hard in preparation for the AASCF State Titles in September.
EOD Allstars owner Alissa Mears said she was impressed by the level of commitment shown by the athletes at the competition – all the EOD Athletes were to be congratulated on their conduct and sportsmanship.
“All the extra training, effort and support from the parents driving the children back and forth to the gym is worth it when you see the smiles on our kids’ faces and how much work actually goes on behind the scenes in class,” she said.
