More commonly known as figure eight racing, the track purposely intersects itself, increasing the risk of collision.
And, with up to 10 cars scheduled to be on the track, trying to precisely navigate the cross over is bound to provide some spectacular racing.
Mr George, who has been organising the popular demolition derby for years now, is excited at the prospect of showcasing this exciting form of racing at the Singleton Show.
“It will be a first for a rural show in NSW,” he says.
“Although they do it in South Australia and it’s huge in the States.”
Compared to the derby, it will be a bit quicker and involve a lot more precision driving as the aim is not to stop at the crossover point, he explains.
It also means he has had to go above and beyond when it comes to safety precautions.
“All cars must be full-spec race cars with roll cages, safety harnesses and everything,” Mr George explains.
“It’s basically speedway meets demolitions derby at an agricultural show.”
But there will also be an element of fun involved, with his own car decorated with Peppa Pig thanks to his daughter, Mia, and
the pace car will resemble The Wiggles Big Red Car.
The first Hell on Wheels session is scheduled for 3.45pm on Saturday, September 26, at the Singleton Show and is sponsored by Prue and Harley Scott from Hunter Tree and Lawn Care Maintenance.
The second session should be at 7.40pm before the fireworks and, of course, the well-known Demolition Derby, which is sponsored by Diona Construction.
The 2015 Singleton Show opens at the showground on Friday, September 25.
