Police were told that two groups of people became involved in an argument outside a Buchan Avenue home about 4pm on Wednesday.

“During the argument a man has fired a shot at the premises,’’ police said in a statement.

“One group has then left the location in an unknown vehicle.’’

No one was injured and a crime scene was established.

The shooting may have been the culmination of a series of disputes between different groups.

Investigations are continuing.
