The Hunter bridge club recently held their annual meeting in Singleton and Betty Longue was re-elected as president.

The meeting was held at the Senior Citizens Centre where the club meets to play bridge each Monday evening.
In her report to members Mrs Longue thanked the various office-bearers for their co-operation and assistance for the past twelve months, and advised membership had increased.
The club’s “Christmas in July” and Christmas party were both enjoyed and well attended.
Other office-bearers elected were: vice president, John Flannery; secretary and master point, Hank Ruigrok; Treasurer, Elaine Thomas; publicity, Ray Robinson; Bridge Tuition, Alida and Hank Ruigrok; catering, Betty Longue.
