Council was expected to endorse the proposed $11 million funding arrangement. 

A Council spokesperson says after receiving correspondence that questioned the technical aspects of the exhibition process, the general-manager requested withdrawal of the report.

“This was undertaken to ensure the integrity of the process. Council will seek independent legal advice and then subsequently determine the next steps,” the spokesperson.
