The Roosterette's scored their biggest win and their third for the season with a dominant 68 point victory over Cardiff. Final scores were Singleton 11.9.75 to Cardiff 1.1.7.
Cardiff opened the scoring with the first goal of the game. From there the Roosterette's knuckled down and found their straps. They used the vast ground at Rose Point Park to produce a superb running game. An impressive 5 goal haul in the second quarter set up their dominant victory.

The Reserves had a hard day against the well trained Terrigal Avoca Panthers. There was a slight across ground breeze that seemed to advantage Terrigal in the opening quarter.
The Roosters used the wind in the second quarter to get themselves back in the game to trail by 17pts at half time but couldn't find the answers to match the opposition in the second half.
Having to manage players who were backing up for the next game saw the Roosters undermanned and the Panthers ran away with the game.

The Black Diamond Plate was a good contest. The Roosters strength in the midfield saw centre clearances go Singletons way and produce plenty of forward charge.
The second and fourth quarters were the Roosters highest scoring quarters with 5 goals scored in each. At the other end of the ground the Roosters produced a solid line of defence and the Roosters only conceded 2 goals for the game.

A special thanks to Terrigal Avoca Panthers AFC, especially Stuart Billins and the trainers and runners for the help and assistance in caring for one of our injured players during the game on Saturday. Also a big thanks to the players who showed their respects by clapping off our stretchered player. It speaks volumes on how good of a club you are.
