The book provides an understanding of the grief process and offers guidance and a variety of approaches to help people overcome grief and begin the return to hope, happiness and a meaningful life.

While it begins with Patricia’s story of loss, it goes on to reveal the steps she took to turn her life around and includes case studies and exercises designed to help those undertaking their own journeys to move forward in their healing process.

Anthony Egan, Singleton Council’s Director Corporate and Community, said as well as being an inspirational story, Patricia Brown’s book could also be a valuable resource for people in similar circumstances.

“Patricia Brown’s book has been acclaimed as giving clarity, direction and hope to anyone who is struggling with significant loss,” he said.
