Highlights of this year’s show include the children’s entertainment, the 12th Annual OAK Australian Wife Carrying Titles, Running of the Brides competition, Wood Chop and Post splitting, bull rides and the Aussie FMX motorcross team.
If you’re interested in heart stopping entertainment and a show the whole family will love, get down and check out the Aussie FMX motorcross team in action.
Aussie FMX gives you the opportunity to see some of the country’s top Freestyle Motocross riders in action, as they turn themselves inside out and upside down while flying 75 feet through the air.
These death defying athletes perform some of the biggest stunts in action sports, including the famous ‘back-flip’.
Award winning music artists Adam Eckersley and Brooke McClymont will perform on Friday September 22 after the popular bull ride event as part of the after party celebrations.
This powerhouse musical duo have enjoyed tremendous success with their individual careers and have come together to provide a great evening of music.
Brooke is a member of The McClymonts band, alongside her two sisters Sam and Mollie and Adam is the heart and soul of the Adam Eckersley Band, who have recently completed their first European tour.
There’s also plenty to see in the ring with horse sports, working dog trials, dog high jump and the 2017 Singleton Show girl competition.
The ever popular Show Bull Ride will be held on Friday.
Cody Heffernan, Australia’s top bull rider and Singleton local, (when he’s not bucking his way around the globe) is listed to compete in the open bull ride event, commencing at 6.30pm.
There’s also roving reptiles, native animals, jumping shows dogs, Taekwondo performances, puppet shows and the demolition derby.
Browse through the arts and craft pavilions, machinery museum, horticulture and poultry sheds and trade stalls or join in the fun of side show Alley, or bring the family to along to the spectacular fireworks show at 7.30pm on Saturday.
