Diggers York Street is once again the venue for what has become an annual must see event. The Singleton Cabaret Troupe presents Sequins and Dreams, a tribute to Motown and the sounds of Soul and Rhyth’n’Blues music of the 1960s.

Talented trio -Kristy Hicks, Katrina Household, and Mandy Toohey – will be backed by guitarists, George Lianos and Peter Knight.
They group will perform songs by the greatest artists and groups of the era, including Dianna Ross and The Supremes, Dusty Springfield, Aretha Franklin, The Dixie Cups, Smokey Robinson, Lesley gore, The Four Tops and more. There will be great opportunities for audience participation throughout the night.
This visual and sound spectacular is set to feature familiar hits, including: Stop in the Name of Love, Heard it Through the Grape Vine, He’s So Fine, Hit the Road Jack, Son of a Preacher Man, Love Child and more.
The show includes a three course dinner. Tickets are $70 and available at All 4 U Fashions, 107 John Street Singleton, next to the Commonwealth Bank. With the shows commencing at 7:30pm on Friday, November 10 and Saturday, November 11.
The Rotary Club of Singleton on Hunter proudly support this event each year and this will be the fifth show since 2013.
In doing so, the Club and the talented local performers have raised over $35,000 which has been put to many great causes, including, Polio Plus, Heart Foundation, Singleton Cancer Appeal, Multiple Sclerosis Research, Soldier On, Interplast, Arise n Shine Orphanage and Hunter Medical Research Institute. This years fundraising will be directed to Kidney Research Australia and The Rotary Foundation.
