The few weeks off certainly didn’t hurt anyone with many new PBs (personal bests) being achieved for the evening.

Meanwhile, Singleton was split between meetings at the weekend.
Twelve swimmers competed at the Nelson Bay Qualifying Carnival and a small but big-hearted squad ventured to the Denman Intertown.
Singleton lost its first intertown meeting this season but is still leading the pointscore with Branxton and Merriwa to come.
Many of the swimmers had to contest a higher age group due to a shortage of competitors.
They should be proud of their efforts for the team.
