ONCE again, the staff at Queensland Country Credit Union have taken on the challenge of the annual MIGATE Best Dressed Business display for the Xstrata Mount Isa Rotary Rodeo. After scooping the title of Grand Champion last year, the business is a hive of activity with staff decorating the area with their theme for this year - Bachelor and Spinster Ball (B&S). Assistant branch manager Christine Bradford said every year, immediately after the theme is announced, the decorating committee jump into action and plan the display. Mrs Bradford said staff have worked through Friday nights and weekends to complete the transformation from bank to B&S ball . "It's a great team building exercise and it's something that we are very proud of," she said. Mrs Bradford said the competition each year helped to build community spirit. "We have a lot of member and non-members coming in to have a look and they are usually blown away by it," she said. "It's just a nice feeling for us, in the small way that we help to promote the rodeo." The 2013 MIGATE Best Dressed Premises will be held the week of the August 5 - 9, with the winners being announced on Thursday, August 8. Organisations are invited to get into the spirit of rodeo and dress their premises and staff according to this year's theme, 90th Bush Birthday Bash.
