Singleton Council has approved scheduled works at the intersection for June 2017.
The changes mean drivers turning left into Blaxland Avenue will have priority over those turning right.
The works follow ongoing monitoring of the installation of a give way sign and associated line marking to address a number of near misses stemming from confusion over who had the right of way at the end of the slip lane. Comments on social media on the changes to the intersection suggested a roundabout would be more suitable.
