On Saturday night two women were found to be in possession of a prohibited drug while the vehicle they were in was parked at a Singleton Heights shopping centre.

Both the 40-year-old and 52-year-old Singleton females have been charged with possessing a prohibited drug, being Methamphetamine.
While the 52-year-old was also charged with resist arrest after attempting to stop Police when they tried to seize the drug.
At about 8.15pm Police were patrolling in the Singleton Heights area when they observed a silver Holden parked outside a home on Wakehurst Crescent.
A short time later they saw the same vehicle leave the address and enter the car park which at the time was empty as all the shops were closed.
Police approached the vehicle and subsequently both persons were searched.
At the time the 52- year- old attempted to prevent Police from taking the drugs and as a result she was arrested.
The 52-year- old was taken to Singleton Police Station where she was charged with resist arrest and possess prohibited drug.
The 40-year-old female was issued a Field Court Attendance Notice for possess prohibited drug.
Both are to appear before the Singleton Local Court on January 15, 2018.
