Police inquiries are continuing into a break-in last week at Singleton Heights Public School where the canteen and rooms in the school's administration building were ransacked with cash and computer equipment stolen.

The break-in by persons unknown, occurred sometime between 6:5pm on Tuesday, August 18 and 4:40am on Wednesday, August 19 at the school located on Blaxland Avenue.
It is believed the persons entered the facility by jimmying open a ground floor window in the administration building.
Once inside they ransacked 12 rooms throwing property across the rooms and gaining access to desk draws and removing the contents and scattering it throughout the rooms.
They also broke into the canteen where food including custard was consumed, food was also thrown against the canteen walls, and chocolates and lollies were stolen.
Police say the canteen like the administration building rooms was ransacked.
Goods taken include nine iPads, one laptop and $2000 cash with a strong room/safe broken-into. There was also other damage to the facility including broken doors.
Police crime scene investigators have gathered evidence but so far no witnesses have been found and there was no CCTV.
