Early Friday morning two industrial bins on fire in downtown Singleton

Fire & Rescue firefighters arrived and found two industrial bins well alight next to a building and got to work with hose lines. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for fire spread and heat in side the building. On Sunday evening the service and police responded to reports of a grass fire near the rail over the pass, on the New England Highway. Firefighters found a small area of grass alight and they extinguished the fire.
