More than 300 competitors travelled from afar to compete at the 2021 Complete Parts Singleton Rodeo on Saturday.
As the community transitions back into normality after COVID put a hold on many local events in the past year, more than 4,500 spectators went through the gates at the Singleton Show ground to witness all the action.
Local riders and athletes took the opportunity to showcase their skills on home turf all whilst raising funds and awareness for a good cause.
"It was another huge success," said Event Organiser Robbie George.
"We had a total of 338 competitors enter, many local and many from afar but all competitors put on a great show and the crowd reacted accordingly."
Lachlan Richardson took on the Challenge to ride the Bucking Bull of the year "Call me Joe" and unfortunately fell off within the first 2 seconds, therefore the $5000 was kindly donated to Cancer Assist Singleton and Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation.
The 'Guess the weight of Rocky' the Steer was won by Sarah and Jack Randle and all ticket sales went straight to the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation.
"We're not a Rodeo without Sponsors our largest Sponsor was Complete Parts and Equipment," Robbie continued.
"A huge thank you to NAA committee and volunteers, The Retired Coal Miners and the Rural Fire Brigade. Adam Thiecke who supplied the music our National Anthem singer Elizabeth Haak and Jesse Glass who was the Announcer."
"Thank you Singleton Argus for all your promotion towards the Rodeo, our ABCRA Rodeo Riders the spectators and the sponsors, we can't run a rodeo without judges, gate pullers, timers and contract stock and to everyone who helped on the day."
