The Singleton Business Chamber is hosting a Meet the Candidates breakfast at Majestic Cinemas on Tuesday, March 10, from 7am to 8.30am.
All five political hopefuls – Michael Johnsen (The Nationals), John Kaye (Greens), Martin Rush (Labor), Richard Stretton (Christian Democratic Party) and Lee Watts (Independent) – have been invited to attend the forum,
according to chamber president Ryan Fitzpatrick.
“We’re organised the public roundtable to give people a better understanding of who stands for what,” he said.
“And, we intend to ask some big questions.
“They’ve done similar forums in Muswellbrook, Denman and Jerrys Plains – now it is Singleton’s turn.
“Anyone can come along, but you need to register at https://www.stickytickets.com.au/23340
“We’ll be asking all candidates a few start-up questions and then the forum will be open to the floor.
“If you want to make sure we get the best person to represent us in Sydney and ensure we get our fair share of funding and infrastructure, it’s important to attend.
“That way you’ll be better equipped to vote on March 28.”
Questions can also be emailed to info@singletonchamber.org.au
Bookings for the March 10 breakfast need to be made by Friday.
The cost is $33 for Singleton Business Chamber members and $55 for non-members.
