Scoring continued to be difficult thanks to some very fast greens. There were only three scores better than 36 points. Countdown winners were Dan Storey, Shaun Paget, Jayme Bennett, and Scott Humby.
The runner’s up were former member, now at Traralgon, Barry Muir, Paul Burke, George Duff, and Bob Morrissey. Barry was recovering from his 70th birthday celebrations the night before and most surely had a long day on the course.
Fergus Hay took out A grade with a fine score of 38 points. B grader Ethan Van Zyl continued his charge towards A grade with a mighty 39 points while C grade’s best was Hardy Blasko also with 39 points.
Entries for this year’s Holden Scramble are now being taken only through the Pro Shop. The rescheduled event is being played on Sunday, September 24.
