Yarra Pappin will line up for the Under 12 boys side, while Lilly-Jane Williams and Sarah Rich are a part of the inaugural Under 12 girls rep team.
Kalani Bates also shares in this honour, being selected in the first ever Under 14’s girls team.
In the Under 13’s boys is Dorian Thornberry for his second year running.
While the Under 15’s boys side has a large Singleton representation, with Jesse Bates, Conor Thornberry, Nicholas Pettit and Daltyn McCartney all making the cut.
Meanwhile Ethan Kolatchew and Tahlia Thompson are a part of the Under 17’s boys and girls sides, respectively.
Defying the harsh wind and persistent rain, all the Hunter teams were competitive in their respective matches.
With most teams restricting their opponents, Central Coast, to only 10 or 20 points and defeating them by over 60. Some Hunter squads won by over 100.
Singleton players also achieved personally during their matches.
Bates, who is also a member of the prestigious Sydney Swans Academy, was chosen as the captain of the Under 15’s boys.
While his sister Kalani was named the vice-captain of her squad. She also received the Best on Ground accolade.
And for a second year in-a- row Tahlia Thompson was also named Best on Ground.
Our local talent trailed at multiple different venues across the Valley to make their respective teams. All of the Hunter teams are represented by at least one Singleton player.
However, the Roosters weren’t only represented by players.
Bowen Flockhart was chosen to umpire the Under 13’s boys representative game, and has also been selected to be a part of the Next Generation umpiring program.
The program sets up promising youngsters with the skills to umpire at a professional AFL level.
In their next round, they will make the trip up to Coffs Harbour to face teams from Central Coast, North Coast and Mid-North Coast.
The Hunter teams will participate in a series of matches across two days on July 17 and 18.
