Fox wrote to the planning department about the construction stage in July not long before it was revealed the next blockbuster in Chris Hemsworth's Thor franchise would be shot at the nearby Moore Park studios.
In a submission on the development application, Fox raised concerns that an assessment of the proposal's likely impacts was "inadequate and likely to understate the true noise and vibration impacts" during construction.
It warned there were "potentially significant economic consequences not just for (Fox) but for NSW and the Australian film industry" if construction disrupted operations or prevented the normal use of sound stages.
The works will coincide with a major film production from the Disney-owned Marvel Studios which is being filmed mostly at Fox with financial assistance from the state and federal governments.
Thor and another new Marvel film, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, are to be filmed in NSW in 2019 and 2020.
"The reported $150 million Marvel film will provide a major economic boost to the Australian screen sector and the state of NSW employing up to 2300 people during its production," Fox's submission on the DA states.
Fox argues key considerations around privacy, access, noise and vibration hadn't been properly addressed in the environmental impact statement. The studio recommended further investigations before consent was given.
A spokesperson for the planning department said they'd received 81 submissions during consultation on the DA and Infrastructure NSW would need to respond to a report addressing all the issues raised.
"The department is awaiting this response. Once received, the department will assess the proposal, taking into consideration all submissions," the spokesperson said in a statement.
Shadow treasurer Walt Secord - who asked Arts Minister Don Harwin about the submission in parliament on Thursday - said it was the latest example of the government "failing to properly prepare for the impact of their infrastructure projects on surrounding businesses".
"The Berejiklian government has a responsibility to ensure that the construction of the Sydney Football Stadium does not drive away jobs and investment in film at Fox Studios," he said in a statement.
