In the group's first project they rescued citrus which was either donated to drought affected communities, turning into juice or jams and pickles.
Recently they rescued a carrot crop which was surplus to the grower's needs and turned them into jars of relish and pickles. Plans are now underway for a mulberry rescue. The produce made will be sold by the group to raise funds for future projects.
