The decision paid off, and her team made the most of their opportunity with several players getting on the score sheet.
Right winger Katie Bell said with their previous match having been called off, they were keen to get a run regardless of the conditions, and they enjoyed the chance to put together some nice football.
"Everyone played really well, we got a really good chance to practise our passing," she said.
"It was really tough with it being soaking wet, but I think the goals were spread out pretty well and the other team put up a really good physical fight."
The side are sitting third on the table, and are exciting about the upcoming fixture against second-placed Cessnock.
Despite losing 6-0 to them in round one, both Croswell and Bell are confident it will be an even contest this time around, with new players having found their position and having a home ground advantage.
"It is always nice to play the higher teams and get a fairer competition," she stated.
"They really push us to play our best, but at the same time it's good for the spirit to play some of the teams where you can get a few more goals in and practise your skills.
