The Northern Agricultural Association (NAA) are thrilled to have more than 90 solar panels installed on the Horticultural Pavilion roof over the last week thanks to AGL Energy.

Administered by AGL, the grant was funded by both AGL and the federal government.
"We are so thankful to have been one of 31 applicants who were lucky enough to score the grant," said NAA President David Williams.
"We hope the 93 solar panes will help reduce our power bill on the main meter board."
The NAA applied for the initiative worth $66,750 nearly nine months ago and are ecstatic to have been selected to benefit from it with renewable green energy.
AGL's Powering our Community Program gives AGL people an opportunity to nominate an eligible community group of their choice to have AGL install solar panels on the roof of the organisation's premises for the one-off cost of $1. This will cover supply and installation of the solar system.
An operator at AGL's Bayswater power station, Dave Moran chose to nominate the Northern Agriculture Association in Singleton and AGL recently installed 92 solar panels on the roof of the Horticultural Pavilion.
General Manager, Liddell and Bayswater, Leonard Mclachlan said he commended Dave on nominating the Association who do so much terrific work for the community.
"After a tough few years with severe drought, bushfires and COVID-19, a program like this one has never been more important.
"The energy generated from this installation will help to power the local caravan park, helping to reduce running costs and provide a more sustainable business.
"It has been really special to see this program come to life and I look forward to seeing visitors return to the area over the comings months, with solar powering their holidays!"
President of the NAA Mr David Williams also noted the completion of the new LED show ground lighting is near.
"In the next fortnight we hope to have the new LED arena lighting complete!" he added.
