English Sporting shoots are becoming very popular with most organisations staging them.
And, visitors from other clubs helped swell the numbers with 64 nominating.

Sunday dawned a little foggy but cleared to another fine day.
Again, a lot of visitors from all clubs in the valley, Quirindi, Central Coast and Sydney, participated with 65 nominations.

- The High Gun winners for the weekend were:

“At the presentations, all shooters praised the layout, facilities and services as first class,” Singleton Clay Target Club secretary/treasurer Denis Pearce said.
“A big thank you to Anne, Tracey, Robyn and Ashley in the kitchen and Julie in the office.
“A lot of work goes into setting up and running a big shoot, so a big thank you to Jack, Hugh, Lionel, Matt, Olly and Darren for a great job.
“The next shoot will be held on Sunday, May 1.
“It will be the Northern Zone Ball Trap Championship of 100 targets.
“This will be preceded by a 25 targets Side x Side Event using older style double barrel firearms.”
Practice is on Wednesday from 10am to 2pm.
