The heifer Glenlea Charol was shown by Travis and Sara Worth, Tractor Charolais stud Denman.
In winning the Allan and Joan Ball Memorial Trophy the heifer outclassed the junior champion interbreed bull also exhibited by the Worths – Tractor Larceny which co-judge Chad Williamson, Chadwick Shorthorns, Guyra, described as having heaps of thickness and power.
But it was the femininity of the heifer and her wonderful conformation which saw her triumphant on the day.

Tractor Charolais won the group of three in the interbreed classes and the pair of heifers making it a worthwhile trip down the valley despite the continuing extremely hot weather.
