It will be a social night and dinner with Murray ‘Muz’ Hartin providing some much need light hearted entertainment.
The former Barker College boy grew up in Northern NSW town of Moree and is country journalist by trade. Through his extensive travels around Australia Muz met a vast and varied collection of remarkable Australians.
They are the inspiration for his stories.People like the late Northern Territory station-owner and legend Billy Hayes, former world champion surfer Mark Richards and The Hog Whisperer Scotty Parker, Muz’s mate from Queensland.
His story ‘Rain from Nowhere’ written in 2007, addressing the issue of rural suicide has touched the hearts of people Australia wide.
Hunter Local Land Services is supporting Farm Family Gatherings across our region during March. DPI Rural Resilience program invites everyone to all drought support events - feel free to attend a program in any area just book in via the registration link below.
Don't miss the talented bush poet, Murray Hartin; Kate Schwager's drought recovery story; or a session with business coach, Chris Morrison, plus drought information and advice - all at a venue near you.
