Mr Joyce described the fact 9000 workers drive-in each day as insane
The hearing chaired by the Member for New England, Nationals, Mr Joyce is part of an inquiry into the mining sector’s support for businesses in regional economies. It is held under the auspices of the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Industry, Innovation, Science and Resources.
Bulga resident Wayne Riley wrote to Mr Joyce saying one of the reasons people don’t live locally is the air quality in Singleton.
To highlight the problem Mr Riley has provided a video he took this morning at Mount Thorley at 6.30am. Of note an air quality alert has been issued for Mount Thorley this morning as PM10 levels exceed national standards.
