A woman was refused bail and faced court in Wyong on Saturday, December 8, after police seized more than 170 cannabis plants at a home in Singleton.

About 7:00am on Friday, December 7, officers from Hunter Valley Police District executed a search warrant at a home on Boundary Street. Police will allege the home had been converted into a hydroponic house.
During a search of the home, officers seized more than 170 cannabis plants and equipment. A 28-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Singleton Police Station where he was charged with cultivate cannabis – commercial quantity and supply prohibited plant – commercial quantity.
Police are investigating a break and enter that occurred at a recreational club on the Golden Highway Warkworth, on Saturday 1 December. A significant amount of property was stolen including a water tank, BBQ, cameras and corrugated iron. A second water tank was left behind, however it had been drained.
