The match in 2017 saw the Sydney Swans win an Australian LGBTI Award in the Community Initiative/Charity category.
On game day the SCG will be a sea of colour - there will be a rainbow bay, rainbow markings on the field and the goal umpires will use rainbow flags.
The club's official LGBTIQ supporter group, the Rainbow Swans, addressed players ahead of training this week while four Swans, including Irish talent Colin O'Riordan, recreated the iconic Bealtes' Abbey Road album cover on the rainbow coloured crossing adjacent to the SCG.
O'Riordan, who has played 12 games this season, visited Singleton in February this year alongside his teammate Harry Cunningham as part of the 2019 AFL community camp initiative.
