Donning their Santa hats, the staff will soon hit the road for their fourth annual Bush Toy Run.
This year toy run will visit Goodooga, Lightning Ridge, Collarenebri and Gulargambone, a round trip of more than 1600 kilometres.
Though every kilometre travelled will be well worth if it means bringing the Christmas cheer to 240 children who need a helping hand this festive season.
Ravensworth Environment and Community Complex Manager, Luke Bowden said the team were excited for another toy run.
“We focus on kids from low socioeconomic backgrounds, whose families may not be able to give presents at Christmas,” Mr Bowden said.
“We’re in a better position to give, so the bush toy run is a good opportunity to help those in need.”
So far, the Ravensworth team has raised $3000 for the Toy Run, and has over 200 beautifully wrapped presents at the ready.
The bush toy run will be at Lightning Ridge on Tuesday, December 12 from 10.30am.
